Office Manager / Administrative Assistant

Transmitter Media, an award winning podcast production company, is seeking an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time position, based in our Brooklyn offices. This position reports directly to Transmitter's CEO and leadership team.


Financial Management: manage accounts payable and receivable and basic bookkeeping functions. Keep financial dashboard up-to-date and assist with yearly budgeting and resource allocation. Office Management: order supplies, manage equipment inventory, coordinate office moves, liaise with building super, monitor facilities, etc. Project Management: coordinate special events, staff retreats, travel logistics, and other projects as they arise. Assist with sales activities and provide general administrative support for production staff as needed. We're looking for someone with an interest in creating fun events for the benefit of our team and for the broader podcasting community. People Operations: monitor payroll, assist with recruitment activities, shepherd contracts for all independent contractors, assist with scheduling performance reviews, enhance organization-wide production and operational systems, onboarding procedures, etc. Executive Assistance: schedule meetings and manage CEO's calendar, assist with correspondence on behalf of CEO, act as a front face for the office, greeting visitors and clients.


At least two years of administrative experience in a fast-paced, media environment required. Superb organizational and writing skills are a must for this position. Professional decorum and ability to maintain confidentiality and develop trusting professional relationships. Ability to liaise with a variety of business partners and contractors. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate attention to detail and be a team player! Experience working within the podcast industry a plus EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
