Position Summary: Studio71 is looking for a growth manager to assist with strategic marketing, growth initiatives, and cross promotion for the podcast department. Individual will be responsible for identifying specific shows that could benefit from direct marketing and/or growth analysis, in addition to working with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and execute promotional campaigns. Ideal candidate will have experience in marketing, networking, copywriting -- for podcasts, and promotional material (both written and audio). Candidate must be familiar with the podcast industry as a whole, as well as CMS systems, and project management.

Responsibilities • Work with the Podcast Team and producers to identify specific shows in network that could benefit from promotion. • Research and develop relationships with external podcast networks, hosts, and vested parties to broaden partnerships for cross promotion. • Write, direct, and deliver compelling audio promos for both internal use and external use. • Work with external tools provided by 3rd parties to submit requests and timely announcements of specific shows and/or episodes that warrant promotion to specific platforms. • Maintain Schedule of cultural and thematic milestones within the broader cultural landscape and podcast industry. Ie award shows, holidays, popular themes and categories. • Track effectiveness of promos across multiple platforms and understand ROI on paid campaigns.

Requirements • Experience in networking with outside organizations, cold calling/emailing to establish relationships. • Positive attitude, solution-oriented outlook, and collaborative approach to every project. • Close attention to detail. • Must be able to work independently when needed. • Bonus if you have produced/hosted podcasts in the past.
