ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an analyst to help us solve some of the most interesting data-centric questions in the quickly evolving on-demand audio industry. Whether it’s a better understanding of our audiences, assessing new opportunities, or unpacking broader market trends, the ideal analyst will bring an open mind and a flair for creativity to the wide swath of their investigations. This role will report to the VP of Finance and Business Development and will be based in New York, NY.
Catalog and evaluate internal and external data sources
Build and maintain analytics dashboards to support editorial and business teams
Analyze podcast listenership to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
Investigate marketing performance to help drive growth
Support financial modeling and business projections
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a talented and ambitious person to help grow our data capabilities. The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years work experience
Strong analytics knowledge; SQL, Python, or other data access tools a plus
Familiarity with web, content and/or podcast analytics, and experience with key digital marketing tactics and metrics
Deep knowledge of data visualization; you love to make the complex easy to understand!
This is a part-time position. The time commitment is negotiable, though ideally around 15-20 hours a week. Compensation will be based on work time and experience level. This position will be located in our Manhattan office, though there is opportunity for tele-commuting in the right situation.
