Quality Control Coordinator
A full time position at Parcast, Los Angeles CA, USA
We’re seeking a diligent Quality Control professional to join our incredible production team, and to review episode audio files while facilitating the distribution of Parcast podcasts. In the role, you’ll maintain a schedule of upcoming releases, review episode audio files, and interface cross-functionally with the writing and marketing teams to coordinate special promotions. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences podcasts!
What you’ll do
- Listen to and assess episodes and ad spots before release, ensuring they meet Parcast quality standards
- Manage release schedules, and schedule episodes for release on the hosting platform
- Review and create episode descriptions and other copy as needed
- Maintain episode archive documents
- Copyright audio files
- Complete other special projects as needed and as assigned by your supervisor
Who you are
- You’re able to take on a position demanding a high level of organization in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- You enjoy listening to hours of audio content, and can do so while maintaining focus with a laser-sharp attention to detail
- You possess basic experience working with DAW’s (Digital Audio Workstations)
- You’re a quick study, able to get swiftly up-to-speed on internal processes, as well as technical skills
- You bring a deep understanding of the importance of consistent production and tight distribution schedules
- You care about the Parcast listener and Spotify listener experience and ideally are passionate about the podcasting space
- You bring experience with podcast distribution platforms and audio quality control
- 2+ year of experience in a similar role or field is strongly preferred
