Associate, Business Development
A full time Sales Representative position
Fully remote: working with a USA-based team at Lemonada Media.
Lemonada Media is seeking a full-time Associate, Business Development to contribute to building strong relationships and systems to support our growing base of Lemonada corporate and nonprofit sponsors and advertisers. The Associate, Business Development reports directly to the Director, Partnerships, collaborating with fellow members of the business development team, as well as the operations, production, and marketing teams to maximize revenue-driving operations across the network and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
Roles and Responsibilities Assist in meeting or exceed revenue goals related to foundation and nonprofit, corporate, brand, agency, and all traditional CPM selling channels on cause-based audio content
- Identify new corporate and foundation sponsors, research potential leads, and conduct outreach to generate new business
- Support all stages of deal-closing process in collaboration with colleagues on the Business Development Team
- Support agency and foundation relationship management for sponsors
- Support smooth sales operations to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
Support Managing Directors/Directors, Business Development, to coordinate with client and ad operations teams to manage process and delivery of ad copy, air checks, and impression delivery
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking and sending of invoices for all partners
- Manage inventory and data reporting on contracted deliverables for ad impressions on shows for both internal and external audiences
- Provide team data management support
- Organize and create weekly external and internal meeting agendas
Contribute to strong internal collaboration and processes
- Utilize CRM system to track pipeline from initial research through deal closing
- Manage internal tracking systems and calendars to support the larger Business Development team
- Support collaboration with the operations team and clients to ensure seamless development and delivery of ad copy, as well as timely invoicing, data tracking, and reporting on all accounts
- Manage all information systems and data tracking to support the selling process
- Work cross-functionally with broader Lemonada team to achieve all outcomes
Desired Competencies
- At least two years of professional experience; previous experience in media, podcasting, or advertising preferred.
- Highly organized with an exceptional ability to manage multiple work streams with with top-notch attention to detail and highly dependable follow-through
- Exceptional ability to build and navigate relationships across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Desire and ability to work in fast-paced, growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong judgment and ability to manage confidential information and data

Employment Logistics
This position is full-time. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. We also offer Medical, Dental, Vision benefits, Life and ST Disability, Medical and Dependent Care FSA, 401K, and 3 weeks of flexible PTO to all full-time regular employees plus a generous holiday schedule includes 2 weeks full-team time off in December and 2 additional weeks of paid holidays.
